Terms of Service - File Manager

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Mohan RKS ("Developer", "We", "Us", "Our") governing your access to and use of the File Manager mobile application ("Application", "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.

2. Scope of License & Allowed Usage

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and execute the Application for your personal, non-commercial use on mobile devices owned or controlled by you.

Restricted Actions:

You shall not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You shall not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based upon the Application.
You shall not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Application.
You shall not use the Application to engage in unlawful activities, infringe upon third-party intellectual property, or bypass platform security measures.

3. User Responsibilities & Device Storage Content

The Application provides advanced utilities for file management, document editing, media playback, archive compression/decompression, app management, and direct Wi-Fi peer-to-peer file sharing. You maintain sole responsibility and liability for:

All files, documents, images, videos, software packages, or audio stored, processed, extracted, edited, transferred, or deleted using the Application.
Ensuring you possess appropriate rights and legal authorizations before acquiring, storing, sharing, or editing any file.
Maintaining full offline backups of important data. We have no access to your files and cannot restore deleted files resulting from user actions or device failures.

4. Secure Vault & Biometric Authentication Disclaimer

The Application offers biometric protection features for hidden or secured folders. This feature utilizes Android system-level authentication APIs and cryptographic storage. You acknowledge that setting up security vaults requires keeping your master credentials or device lock codes safe. The Developer is not responsible for lost data resulting from forgotten device passwords, biometric sensor malfunctions, hardware corruption, or root access exploits.

5. Peer-to-Peer File Transfer Conduct

When using local Wi-Fi Direct or Hotspot P2P file sharing features, you are communicating directly with nearby devices. You agree not to send or distribute harmful content, malware, spyware, unauthorized copyrighted materials, or illegal files to other users. You acknowledge that file transfers take place locally and out of our infrastructure.

6. Third-Party Advertisements & External Links

The Application displays third-party advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may show links to external third-party websites, applications, or services. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party advertisements or websites. Interacting with third-party ads is done entirely at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the Application (including logo designs, user interfaces, source code, branding, and assets) remain exclusively with Mohan RKS. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT DATA STORAGE AND FILE OPERATIONS WILL BE 100% ACCURATE OR RETRIEVABLE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MOHAN RKS OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, DEVICE DAMAGE, FILE CORRUPTION, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, OR BUSINESS LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Modifications to Terms & App Updates

We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Effective Date". Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We may also issue application updates to introduce bug fixes, operational improvements, or new features.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Application shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts of India.
