1. Privacy First Architecture

This Privacy Policy applies to the eBook Reader mobile application ("Application", "App", "Service"), developed by Mohan MRKS ("Developer"). eBook Reader is built with a "Privacy First" approach. We believe your personal data, media, and files belong exclusively to you.

2. Data Handling & Permissions Policy

eBook Reader operates locally on your client device as an offline utility. Permission details:

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Granted locally on your device to open, read, edit, and save files. Your personal files are never uploaded to any external server.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Granted locally to display playback controls, recording status, or background operation updates.

3. Offline & Local Processing Guarantee

Core rendering engines—including EPUB parsing, PDF vector rendering, bookmark saving, and text-to-speech audio queuing—are executed 100% locally on client hardware.

4. Third-Party Advertising & Telemetry Data

The Application integrates Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to serve advertisements. Google AdMob may process device identifiers (Advertising ID, IP address) for ad delivery and fraud prevention.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The Application does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age. Google AdMob is configured to comply with COPPA guidelines.
